According to an article published by CBS in 2004 – two reasons top the list for men who decided to visit a plastic surgeon. The primary reason listed for wanting to look younger was to remain competitive in the work force. Reason number two: Older men and those who are divorced and dating again want to project an image of vitality to lure potential mates.
As more and more men elect to have cosmetic surgery it’s important that they do their research and understand that there are significant differences between the way procedures are performed on women and men. Special considerations such as thicker muscles, and a different skeletal structure make it imperative that men seek out doctors who are trained and accustomed to performing cosmetic surgery on both men and women.

However, with the right research, proper expectations and a good plastic surgeon the benefits can be both safe and life altering. If you are considering plastic surgery, there are a number of factors that you should keep in mind including your physical and emotional health, the limitations of the desired procedure(s) and the credentials of your perspective surgeon.
